That depends on several factors. The author has a full-time day job that requires a fair bit of brain power. This limits their time and energy available to write, but steady progress is being made!
As ever, the second limiting factor is money. The author saves up to afford the editor and artist to self-publish their work. This takes quite some time, as neither quality edits nor beautiful art comes cheap, and Ariel Cross vows to never use generative AI in their work or the work of their collaborators.
